Midlothian getting YMCA Recreation Center | Ellis County Press
MIDLOTHIAN – The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, the City of Midlothian, and Midlothian Independent School District are partnering to bring a brand-new state-of-the-art recreation center/YMCA to serve residents of Midlothian and the surrounding communities, as well as MISD swimmers. The decision follows extensive studies of the area’s population growth and community needs. The project traces back to 2021, when Midlothian citizens approved $19 million in bond funding for a recreation center.
